In Transit
This series is a collection of ten illustrations developed as my senior thesis. It focuses on small, everyday moments that shape my experience of living and moving between places.
In these works, objects, memories, and emotions extend outward from the figure, becoming part of the surrounding space. Food, tools, and personal items are used not only as visual elements, but as traces of routine, identity, and change. Each image captures a fragment of daily life, while also suggesting an internal state.
Through soft color palettes and controlled linework, I aim to create a balance between clarity and fluidity. The compositions are intentionally open, allowing elements to drift and connect across the space, reflecting the feeling of being in transition.Together, the series forms a quiet narrative about adaptation, self-observation, and the process of finding stability within movement.
